Since 1930, when the WGA and celebrated amateur golfer Charles Chick Evans Jr. established the Evans Scholars Foundation, 12,575 young men and women have graduated as Evans Scholars. This year, more than a thousand Evans Scholars are enrolled at 27 leading U.S. universities. Scholarship applications are accepted from high-achieving caddies beginning their senior year in high school or enrolled as college freshmen.
